Learning through Play

In PreK a lot of our learning happens through play. Three, four and five year olds learn best when they do hands on activities and interact with each other. So much can be learned as they are playing- colors, shapes, counting, letter names and sounds. But they also learn how to put things together, how things work, how to write/draw/color. They are also learning social skills- taking turns, sharing, asking for things, cleaning up. working together, playing kindly. Play is an important part of a child's life, especially at this age. We love being a part of their learning through play each day!
